VOLTAIC NANO PLASMATHERAPY
Plasma therapy is a technique used to treat certain areas of skin showing signs of sagging, wrinkles or folds, such as upper and lower eyelids, wrinkles near the eyes, around the lips, or chin.

INDICATIONS
Plasma therapy is indicated in different cases:

PRESENTATION OF THE TECHNIQUE
Plasmatherapy is a non-invasive procedure that utilises excisional plasma to treat excess skin, superficial wrinkles, and minor skin lesions without impacting surrounding tissues.
This procedure applies a difference in potential to produce a voltaic arc, which generates plasma that sublimates superficial epithelial cells and results in skin retraction.
The protocol involves administering local anesthesia that does not cause pain to the area being treated. The session duration varies based on the size of the area, with longer sessions required for larger surfaces. During the procedure, the patient under local anesthesia does not experience sensation. Contact between the handpiece and the skin tissue ionizes gases in the air, producing a small voltaic arc, a potential difference, and plasma formation. This process leads to evaporation of the stratum corneum without affecting the surrounding tissues.
This treatment is non-invasive, accurate, and does not require direct contact. When performed correctly, it does not result in scarring. The likelihood of pigmentation is related to how well the patient follows sun protection guidelines during recovery.
AFTER TREATMENT
A dark crust quickly forms on the treated area. Swelling may occur the following day, typically resolving within 2–3 days.
Scabs typically fall off within 1–2 weeks, leaving initially red skin. The redness can be covered with makeup, allowing patients to resume normal activities after 15 days by using a complexion corrector.
During the healing process, which may take several weeks, the skin typically stays red.
Avoid exposing the red area to sunlight to prevent long-term pigmentation. Use SPF 100 sun protection and reapply every 2 hours in sunny weather until the redness fades to reduce the risk of pigment changes.
RESULTS
Plasma treatments in aesthetic treatment address patient concerns by immediately tightening the skin, improving hydration, and restoring cellular ionic balance.
Results typically appear in about a week, once small crusts have disappeared. The effects are natural and long-lasting, especially if the patient avoids factors that accelerate skin aging, such as sun and tobacco.
